Use Visuals to Improve Collaboration Effectiveness
02 November 2010 Tweet I have been inspired recently by reading the book: The Back of the Napkin: Solving Problems and Selling Ideas with Pictures. It describes how to present and sell ideas using pictures. I am struck by how important this is for collaboration, where virtual teams span geographies, time zones, and languages. The following brief video lays out my case.
For further references and inspiration on the use of graphics, I recommend:
- The video in the blog post Innovation Through Collaboration
- Say It With Charts: The Executive's Guide to Visual Communication, by Gene Zelazny
