Use Visuals to Improve Collaboration Effectiveness

I have been inspired recently by reading the book: The Back of the Napkin: Solving Problems and Selling Ideas with Pictures.  It describes how to present and sell ideas using pictures.  I am struck by how important this is for collaboration, where virtual teams span geographies, time zones, and languages.  The following brief video lays out my case.

I often realized that a good drawing could get a message across more efficiently in many occasions than a dry though slick poster. We are bombarded all day long with the latter.
